WHAT TO CONSIDER WHEN HIRING A HEADSHOT PHOTOGRAPHER

The most important factor besides a photographer's technical and creative skill is his or her ability to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera! Don't just go with the cheapest deal, because you might end up shooting with someone who only cares about framing your face right & doesn't care what your expression says! For many aspiring actors, getting headshots taken is their first experience in front of a camera. It can be a nerve-racking experience! Don't let yourself be captured on film looking like a deer in headlights! Instead, let me make this a fun & comfortable experience for you!

MY PLEDGE TO YOU:
Don't know how to pose? Don't worry! I'm a friendly female photographer who will help guide you through the shoot, even if you've never had your headshots taken before! I also work great with people who just plain hate having their picture taken! Coming from a modeling background, I know how to read the subtleties in every facial expression, reading every wrinkle & curve of your eyes & mouth in order to capture an intensity or glimmer in your eyes & your genuine smile. I can get your expression to say exactly what you want it to say! Prior to shooting, we will have a consultation about what personality/character types you (or your manager or agent) are looking to nail in your photos.

Your headshot should be as flattering as possible in your *natural* capacity. Your pictures need to still look like you! This is about getting you booked for jobs & let's face it, we can glam you up to look hotter than Heidi Klum but unless you walk into every audition maintaining that look it is pointless! For this reason, I highly recommend you arriving with your own makeup & I will provide basic additional makeup & hair. Don't be fooled by any old photographer with a digital camera! I have 13+ years background in shooting on film, so I know the art of photography like the back of my hand. If you prefer the look of film, I will shoot you on film!

Hi-Resolution Color Digital: $300 for 3 outfit changes--includes a disc SAME DAY of all images, also free cropping/resizing service
Retouching available for $25 per image
Basic help with hair/makeup for no charge - Professional hair/makeup by a licensed stylist is optional for addt'l cost (ranging from $75-$100)
Images are incredibly hi-res, you can blow up images to poster-size prints without losing any resolution!
The best part is, there is no limit to how many shots you get with digital! I can take 50 or 500, until you get the one you are happy with!
